Pandora Scooter: Calendar

It's been a while since I've been inspired to write about a gig...but this one, for some reason, has done so. It was a lovely afternoon of performing, sharing, listening, supporting, eating homemade deliciousness and just being in one another's company. I feel very blessed to have been not only been a part of this event, but to have been one of the reasons it came together. Everyone reached someone at this sharing and that is what it is all about. I'm really thrilled that it was such a success and that the people there seemed to be so sated - both in appetite of the body and of the spirit - when they left the park.

Thank you to Naju Webb Johnson, Ken Lipman and MJ Muldoon for featuring and for staying and supporting the other artists and open-mic'ers. That is what makes yiou all great people, as well as great artists.

To onward and upward... and to next year's Summerfest, too!

Pandora

Well, besides some mic troubles and an impromptu-vamp that I did for the audience, the show went really well. Loved the folks there --- great audience and fun show. And, as always, the ladies of HerStory did a great job. More to come!

What an amazing night. Opening HerStory was so much fun. The audience was great and the four of us had a blast. Can't wait to return to UCONN at some point in the future to share some more!

Congratulations to Tiye and AALLU for this 10th Anniversary. The love was in the air and I was thrilled to be a part of it. Performing in the multi-purpose room of the Paul Robeson Center for a room full of LOVELY ladies!!! What could be better?!?!?! Thank you Tiye and everyone else for being so welcoming. Looking forward to the 20th Anniversary!!!

Samantha is one of my favorite poets. This was a great night with Samantha and I tagging each other back and forth, inspiring a spontaneously compiled set list off of each other's work! And then three lovely open-mic'ers. We had a fun time and thanks to a warm-hearted audience.

What could be better than an hour of talking about sex? Rhyming and Rhythming while doing it! About 40 folks showed for this gig that was held as part of BiGLARU's awesome SEX CONFERENCE. And we even had audience participation: sex haikus!!! Yahoo!

Natalie Illum and Athens Boys Choir are amazing! I had a great time this evening and met bunches of great people in DC who made my first gig there so wonderful! Can't wait to go back! Thank you Mara and Phase 1 folks!

This is a great space for activists, idealists and passionate thinkers to come together and share ideas and plans for making the world a better place. Check it out! I had a really great time performing this night.

What an amazing night. EVERYONE was amazing up on the stage --- it was on FIRE! I had a blast and thanks to everyone who showed so much love to a queermamasapien up in the big house! :-) Special thanks to the folks at NJPAC...Baraka, Kitab, Marsha Endora, Margie...and the whole advisory crew...
